Product Description

Smart Glass /PDLC / Switchable Glass 

In short, PDLC film is a huge flat capacitor which realizes transparent or opaque effect by apply-
ing or removing electric field to drive the liquid crystal molecules aligned or disordered array.
When the film is power off , the liquid crystal molecules are randomly aligned , and light is scat-
tered, film becomes opaque. While electricity supplied, these molecules arrange themselves in a
specific direction then parallel light can pass through the film makes it transparent.

When common glass has already installed and it is not convenient replace it with
smart glass.

Switchable Smart Glass Structure:
Glass+EVA interlayer+PDLC film+EVA interlayer+Glass
Smart glass can switch from opaque to transparent instantaneously
under electricity application. It is transparent when power on and it is
opaque when power off. Exact dimensions and electrode location
required before orders.
